Cochrane Cameroon is a member of the Cochrane Collaboration, an international independent and non-profit network whose mission is to support evidence-informed decision-making in health care through relevant, accessible, high-quality systematic reviews and other evidence syntheses. These publications are intended for all: healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and caregivers.

Committed to improving healthcare worldwide by making reliable information available to all, the Cochrane collaboration has grown to more than 100 Cochrane Centres worldwide.

Cochrane Cameroun was created in June 2021 and is hosted by Center for the Development of Best Practices in Health located at the Yaounde Central Hospital. Cochrane Cameroon aims to increase the use of Cochrane evidence to inform healthcare decision-making in French-speaking Africa.
